Journal of Graduate Student Scholarship in Counseling
The Department of Counseling at Texas A&M University is excited to announce that we are launching a new journal; the Journal of Graduate Student Scholarship in Counseling. It is the mission of this journal to feature the work of current graduate students in the field of counseling and to provide advanced doctoral students the opportunity to participate in the peer review process. It is our intention to facilitate and encourage the effective scholarship and service of these students as they transition into positions in academia, clinical practice, or other professional capacities that contribute to new thought and research in the field.
The journal will be available in electronic form in full-text on-line. The journal editors will solicit manuscripts from current graduate students. In addition, the majority of our Editorial Board will be comprised of advanced doctoral students, supported by at least four members who are counselor educators and counseling professionals with advanced experience in the field
